How long have you been here in China? 
I’ve already been here for 8 years. China changed my life. After 8 years I’m still enjoying it, actually more than ever!

Why did you decide to stay in China? What keeps you here? 
Hutong School kept me there. It is a wonderful project. Every day I love going to work. And it is a real privilege for me to work with a team of such great people.

What would you like to accomplish here? 
The purpose of Hutong School is to offer a life-changing experience to people from all over the world. We are committed to creating new opportunities and helping our participants embrace cultural differences. Together with my colleagues, this is what we strive for every day.

What did you do in China before you ended up here at Hutong School? 
With my best friend Matt we renovated a few courtyard houses. I am passionate about design and old houses.

How did you end up at Hutong School? 
By creating it with a few other buddies ?

What was the first impression you had from our school? 
It’s going to be a lot of work to set this up!

What about the working atmosphere? 
It feels like home.

What motivates you to work at Hutong School? 
It motivates me to see Hutong School’s impact on people’s life and to have the cultural interactions with my Chinese colleagues and people from all over the world.
